redchileThe decor was pleasant simple and clean. Feels spacious as 3/4th of the wall are glass ordered the shrimp bowl in Curry. The portions were generous the shrimp was tasty but I expected more of a creamy curry sauce but this was more a light clear sauce. The shrimp portion was descent but they were the medium small size. The flavor was good but I just expected more sauce  to mix in with the generous rice serving.  Hard to really judge more accurately since it was takeout and everything had to fit in the take out trays compartments. It came with half a “Tea egg” which is a hard-boiled egg soaked in tea and it was pretty interesting and tasty.. It also comes with a side and I chose the mixed salad which was adequate but hard to judge since it had to fit in the small compartment of the take out tray.

I also ordered 10 wings and I chose the honey BBQ. The wings were as tasty as you’ find anywhere a little on the small side but priced right @ $7 for 10 wings. Skimpy pf the celery so make sure to ask for some extra. Big plus is everything is cooked to order so be prepared to wait if you do take out. Definitely call ahead for take out. Very nice folks and willing to please and offered free tea or lemonade while I waited. Prices seemed fair for the portion size. I will certainly go back and welcome the addition and variety of something different and oriental one block from the house. I look forward to trying some of the other dishes. From my first impression I don’t think it will be a place one looks forward to  but just a place for some adequately priced OK meals and a nice addition a variety in the hood. They will have beer on tap eventually and they are all set up but it’ll be at least a couple of months before they get their beer license approved. Once they get their beer license it’ll be a welcome thing to have in the hood.
Immediately next door is a small shack that use to be a wing place that is now seafood and that will be my next foray. I always see a buncha of cars there which is generally a good indicator.
